Quinta da Ardanela is a rural retreat - situated in a beautiful valley where you can enjoy peace and tranquility and fully rest in nature. In the immediate environment you can relax in the well appointed properties which are furnished with everything you need - including super comfy beds, and quality towels and bedding. Outside you have terraces where you can enjoy a morning coffee - or dine alfresco and watch the sunset. The land is vast - plenty of local hikes - or you can chill out next to the pool, enjoy the gorgeous horses or go for a paddle in the river. Gina and Clive are fantastic hosts. Wij hebben een fantastische tijd gehad op deze prachtige locatie! Het uitzicht is werkelijk adembenemend: wijds en rustgevend, met vier mooie paarden die elke dag voor de deur grazen — alsof je in een schilderij verblijft. Het zwembad is groot en perfect voor een verfrissende duik op warme dagen, en het riviertje achter het huis zorgt voor een betoverende sfeer. Direct vanuit het huis kun je schitterende wandelingen en fietstochten maken, midden in de natuur. Wat ons meteen opviel: het ziet er in het echt nog mooier uit dan op de foto's! Binnen is het huis heerlijk ruim, comfortabel ingericht en de bedden slapen heerlijk. Gina en Clive waren geweldige hosts. Ze hebben ons voorzien van ontzettend veel leuke tips, zelfs voor regenachtige dagen. Dankzij hen hebben we kunnen kajakken, paardrijden, gezellige marktjes bezocht en genoten van leuke lunchplekjes. Hun warme ontvangst en gastvrijheid maakten ons verblijf extra bijzonder — het voelde echt als thuiskomen. Tivemos uma estadia maravilhosa na Quinta da Adarnela! A casa é muito espaçosa e acolhedora, o espaço em redor é enorme e lindíssimo, deu para uns belos passeios mesmo de inverno! Os anfitriões foram super simpáticos, sempre disponíveis e abertos boas conversas! Até os animais da quinta (cavalos, cães e gatos) são bastante amigáveis apareciam para nós fazer companhia. Foi uma semana incrível de muito descanso onde em família pudemos relaxar, recarregar as energias e aproveitar cada momento ao máximo e nos desconectamos da rotina! Essas férias foram um verdadeiro mergulho na natureza! Não somente o mergulho na magnífica piscina de água salgada mas o respirar ar puro, ouvir o som dos pássaros e sentir a energia da terra trouxe-nos um novo fôlego para a vida! Rodeados de animais, os bonitos e simpáticos cavalos e os cães bem animados e amorosos e uns gatinhos bem discretos 😁 A simpatia da Gina e do Clive sempre muito amáveis e disponíveis! A casa era muito boa ainda que o calor se fizesse sentir, foi possível dormir de forma arejada e que noites espetaculares!!! Heerlijk verblijf gehad bij de lieve Gina en Clive. Ga je voor rust en het lokale Portugese leven dan zit je hier goed. Zo ook aan het grote zwembad 😀. Gina en Clive zijn heel gastvrij ze hebben 2 honden Pluis en Inka en die zijn heel vriendelijk. Locatie is perfect, weg van alle drukte en heerlijk om te relaxen aan het zwembad. De 4 paarden dragen bij aan de landelijke sfeer. Kortom gewoon boeken!
